个人简介与工作经历

Kuo-Yi (Kevin) Lin received B.S. in Statistics from Cheng Kung University. He received M.S. in IEEM from Tsing Hua University with master thesis award from 2009 Chinese Society for Management of Technology, 2009 The Chinese Institute of Industrial Engineers and 2010 Chinese Institute of Decision Sciences. He received Phd. in IEEM from Tsing Hua University with Engineering Principal Scholarship, Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society, and 2014 Saylin Wen Service Science Thesis Award. His research interests including Intelligence Manufacturing, Big Data Analytics and Intelligent Decision, Machine Learning and Data Mining, Product and Service Innovation, Customer Demand Analytics, business intelligence and data mining, Medical, Systems and Technology Management Services, Production system, Product and Environmental Design.

科研与教学

Dr. Kuo-Yi LIN research mainly concerns the development of better analytical methods (Decision Analysis, DSS, Product and Service Innovation, Customer Demand Analytics and Statistics) and solutions (implemented in terms of AI, e.g. Deep Learning, Big Data, Machine Learning and Data Mining ) for high-tech companies confronting with decision problems involved in strategy, manufacturing, and technology that are characterized by uncertain (incomplete or massive) information and a need for tradeoff among various objectives and justification for the decisions. Dr. Lin has been actively involved in many cross-discipline research projects in the domains of Semiconductor manufacturing, TFT-LCD manufacturing, Consumer electronics, Wearable devices and IoT products in which he applies his expertise in solving real problems with domain experts.

Dr. Lin has received awards including 2019 International Conference on Smart Manufacturing, Industrial & Logistics Engineering ( SMILE 2019 ) 2019 International Symposium on Semiconductor Manufacturing Intelligence ( ISMI2019 ) Best Paper Award, Outstanding Paper Award of Annual Meeting of the Ergonomics Society (2018), Outstanding Reviewer Award of Computers & Industrial Engineering (SCI, IF=2.623)(2017), Excellent Teaching Award of Asia University (2017), Best Paper Award of Annual Conference of the Chinese Institute of Industrial Engineers (2017), Best Industry-University Cooperation Paper of Makalot Industrial CO., LTD (2016), Outstanding Paper Award of Annual Meeting of the Ergonomics Society (2016), Best Paper Award of Society for Excelling Enterprise Decisions (2016).
